Ride to the top of 7700’ Dogtooth mountain in the new Kicking Horse Ski Resort’s 8-passenger gondola to enjoy spectacular 360° views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains and gourmet dining in the Eagle’s Eye—the highest restaurant in Canada. Bird-watching in the Columbia River Wetlands or observing Rocky Mountain Sheep near the highways are readily available for the nature lovers.

At our B&B property, there are trails are machine-set for cross-country skiing among the birch, aspen and fir trees in the winter or for short walks when snow-free. These trails connect to an ever growing network in the surrounding area. A short drive will bring you to the Columbia River. For the astronomically inclined, the lack of artificial lighting in the area makes this a perfect place to observe the stars and moon.
